On June 18, 2015, the Consulate-general of Poland in Chengdu opened its doors. Its consular district includes the provinces of Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan and Chongqing municipality. The Consulate-general is located at 26/F, Square One.

About Katarzyna Wilkowiecka, Polish Consul General in Chengdu
Katarzyna Wilkowiecka was born on August 7, 1974, in the province of Lodz in Poland. Between 1994 and 1998, she studied International Politics and Economics at the Academy of Economics in Cracow, where she graduated with a Master's degree in Economics.
She is a career diplomat and joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland in 1998. She was a second-class secretary at the Embassy of Poland in Germany, deputy chief (counselor) at the Embassy of Poland in Malaysia, a first-class secretary at the Department of Asia-Pacific, and Director and Deputy Director-general of the Multilateral Relations and General Affairs Office of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In November 2015, she became Consul General of Poland in Chengdu.
She speaks English, German and Spanish.
